Milan are through to the UEFA Youth League quarter-finals after beating SC Braga on penalties, via a thrilling 2-2 draw.

They include 15-year-old Francesco Camarda, who became the youngest ever player in Serie A history, midfielder Kevin Zeroli, defenders Jan-Carlo Simic, Alex Jimenez and Davide Bartesaghi.

Milan had twice been leading in this Round of 16 tie through Diego Sia and Zeroli goals, despite Sia also missing an early penalty after just 12 minutes.

Dinis Rodrigues equalised and Ruben Furtado snatched a goal at the 94th minute to extend the match.

It could only be decided on penalties, where Zeroli converted the crucial final kick.

The UEFA Youth League is the youth level equivalent of the Champions League, so while Milan crashed out of the main competition in the group phase, the youngsters are progressing to the latter stages.
