Milan pressing to sign Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee | OneFootball

Serie A side Milan are now pressing to sign Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and are ramping up their efforts to land the Dutchman in the summer.

Zirkzee has been linked with a host of clubs in England and Italy, with Bayern Munich also having a buyback clause for the Dutchman. But Milan seem set to lose Olivier Giroud in the summer and the chosen one to replace the Frenchman is Zirkzee himself.

Antonio Vitiello has reported that Giroud has found a total agreement with MLS side LAFC, where he will join at the end of the season. Zirkzee’s name is currently in the pole position to replace Giroud, who was a key part of the Scudetto winning Milan side in 2022.

Milan are pressing to land Zirkzee in the summer and are attempting to potentially find some sort of a financial agreement with Bologna in the next few days. Competition from English clubs does exist but Milan are trying to close a deal as soon as they can.
