Milan have identified Santiago Gimenez as their primary transfer target, so a new and improved offer is heading to Feyenoord after the opening €30m bid was rejected.
The striker further bolstered his profile with two goals in the 3-0 Champions League victory over Bayern Munich midweek, so he now has 15 goals in just 18 competitive games this season.
An opening offer worth €30m was rejected, but multiple Italian sources including La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milannews and DAZN are all confident another is due imminently.

Feyenoord are asking for €45m including add-ons and they hope to meet somewhere in the middle at a grand total of €40m.
The Dutch side paid just €6m to purchase Gimenez from Mexican club Cruz Azul in the summer of 2022.
He is under contract until June 2027 and pushing hard to make the Milan move, even following the club on his social media channels.
Milan already knew they had a problem providing goals since last season, but Alvaro Morata and Tammy Abraham were never exactly prolific.
In the case of Morata, he barely even qualifies for the role of centre-forward, tending to drop deep and work with the midfield.
