Milan consider the addition of a playmaker as a priority and are ready to make a move in January to bring Torino’s Samuele Ricci to the Stadio San Siro.
While the Rossoneri are fully pleased with the level of displays provided by keystones Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders, they feel the need to add more depth to the midfield department and want to do so by stepping up the pursuit of a player they have long monitored.

Directors Giorgio Furlani, Geoffry Moncada and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all agree on considering the 21-year-old mature and skilled enough to make an immediate impact on Paulo Fonseca’s side.
According to Calciomercato.com, the Diavolo have been keeping close tabs on Ricci lately, and his recent improvements persuaded the club to make an attempt to sign him in January, rather than waiting for next June.

However, Torino are likely to be reluctant to sell the youngster in the winter transfer window, with his price tag expected to be in the region of €30-35m.
The sale of Fikayo Tomori, who has also been linked with a move to Juventus, could give Milan the economic means to make a tempting offer to the Granata.
