The Milan Junior Camp continues its expansion with two new projects in two new countries, Mauritius and Tunisia.
Mauritius - 26 December 2023-14 January 2024 From 26 December to 14 January, three weeks of Camp will take place on the scenic island of Mauritius, in the Indian Ocean, at the exclusive One&Only Le Saint Geran Resort, owned by the Kerzner group, which also owns the Rossoneri's Official Hotel Partner SIRO, reaffirming the strong partnership that binds the two brands. The program, dedicated to the resort's guests, will be under the direct supervision of registered Rossonero coach, Alberto Lacandela, and it will take place in a 1- and 6-day format in order to meet the needs of the families staying at the resort. The AC Milan Junior Camp is part of the resort's festive celebration: the Season of Artisanal Elegance. Privileged guests will celebrate beside silky sands and cerulean waters, starring local flavours, island crafts, and exhilarating outdoor adventures for all age groups.
Tunisia - 4-11 February 2024 From 4 to 11 February 2024, a week of Camp will take place in Rades, near Tunis, at the Hammadi Agrebi Stadium's Sports Centre. This is hailed as the best Olympic facility in all of Tunisia, also hosting the Tunisian National Team’s matches. For the first time in this region, the project, reserved for children aged 6 to 17, will be supported by the Tunisian Ministry of Sport. The initiative aims to not only offer a unique training experience, but to also develop a significant partnership with the local sporting authorities. This partnership aims to promote the development of youth football in the region, contributing to sporting progress and the training of young talents.
The arrival of the Milan Junior Camps in Tunisia and Mauritius follows the Camp's recent touchdown in Canada, passing through five Canadian cities from 3 July to 4 August, demonstrating the Club's commitment to promoting its presence at an international level.
Franco Baresi, AC Milan’s Honorary Vice-President, said: "The arrival of the Milan Junior Camps in Tunisia and Mauritius symbolises the Club’s commitment to coming into more and more contact with young people around the world, forging global bonds through football. We want to promote more than just sporting growth in these regions, we want to impart the intrinsic values of the Milan Method. By sharing principles such as respect, collaboration and inclusion, we want to offer the new generations a unique educational experience that goes beyond the playing field, contributing to their personal development as well as technical, inspiring them with the Rossonero passion."
The Milan Junior Camps represent the official holiday experience of the Rossoneri, combining football and leisure. Participating at one of the Camps organised all over the world offers young people a guaranteed sporty, healthy and safe environment, together with a mix of fun and personal growth.
