Milan interested in Tottenham’s Emerson Royal | OneFootball

Serie A giants Milan are interested in the possibility of signing Tottenham Hotspur full back Emerson Royal in the summer.

Emerson has often been criticised for his performances at Spurs and he also drew criticism after their recent loss to Chelsea. But that hasn’t stopped Milan from being interested in the Brazilian.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) have reported that the Rossoneri will look to sign a full-back in the summer and the leading candidate currently is Emerson, who was liked by the club even before he joined Tottenham and that is when even Barcelona were interested.

Emerson is expected to depart Spurs in the summer and his profile suits what Milan need because he can play on either side. One obstacle could be Spurs’ asking price for the Brazilian, who is currently valued at about €30 million.

Milan will definitely not spend that high an amount for a full-back as they believe that an amount like that is reserved for a striker signing.
