Milan reportedly have a verbal agreement with goalkeeper Mike Maignan over a new and improved contract extension, which could place him among the club’s highest earners.
According to reports from transfer expert Matteo Moretto, Milan have an agreement in principle with Maignan over a new contract extension which will reportedly run until the summer of 2028.

Sunday’s update claims that Maignan has given his approval to a base salary in the region of €5m per season, which would put him on a similar wage to the likes of Christian Pulisic and Theo Hernandez. It is understood that Rafael Leao is currently the highest earner among the Rossoneri players.
Maignan’s current contract is due to expire in the summer of 2026, which means that he will be entering the final year of his contract in the summer if an extension is not signed before then.
Moretto reports that Maignan, Milan and their respective representatives will meet again in the coming weeks to iron out the final details of the deal.
