Milan Futuro were held to a goalless draw by Perugia at home on Saturday afternoon, failing to ease their direct relegation fears.
Things have been going from bad to worse for the Futuro despite the change in head coach as they lost to Legnago last weekend.
The bottom-placed side came from a goal down to win 2-1, despite having 10 men from the 43rd minute. Fears of relegation to Serie D have thus increased, with a plan outlined for the worst-case scenario.
The match at the Stadio Solbiate Arno today ended goalless and it was a much better defensive effort from Massimo Oddo’s side, in terms of the discipline and attention showed, but at the expense of attacking threat.
The Rossoneri showed good things especially in the first half and especially with Diego Sia and Francesco Camarda. In the second half, they slow down a bit, with Perugia only threatening through Kanoute with 20 minutes left.
With four minutes to go, Magrassi missed a big chance, leaving an even more bitter taste after a point that is not very useful for Milan. As a result, the Futuro remain in penultimate place, level on points with Legnago and with games running out to save themselves.
