Out-of-favour Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi is subject to interest from several clubs in England and abroad.

According to The Guardian, Nottingham Forest, Fulham and AC Milan are considering a summer swoop for the Englishman at a cut-price deal.

The 22-year-old has been on a downward spiral performance-wise since suffering a serious Achilles injury in 2019.

His injury problems coincided with the period he was handed a bumper five-year contract worth around £120,000 to ward off interest from Bayern Munich.

He was widely regarded as one of the best talents to come through the Chelsea academy, but the injury marked a turning point in his career, and he has been a shadow of himself since.

Chelsea were unwilling to sanction a permanent departure for Hudson-Odoi last summer, hoping that a loan move away from Stamford Bridge would revive his dwindling career.

He spent the last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen but failed to make a defining contribution to Xabi Alonso’s side, notching just one assist in 14 Bundesliga outings.

Having failed to convince the Chelsea hierarchy of his potential to make a telling contribution to the team next season, they have decided to part ways with the youngster this summer.

Hudson-Odoi has one year left on his contract this summer, and Chelsea are open to selling the England international, who could be available for around £15 million.

Forest were the most active English club in the Premier League last summer, and they are looking for more quality additions having retained their top-flight status on their first try.

Fulham defied expectations last season after finishing in the top half of the table, but Marco Silva is aware his side needs more reinforcements to maintain their Premier League status.

They could offer Hudson-Odoi the chance to remain in London, while Milan are also firmly in the mix for the winger. The Rossoneri have cash to splash after Sandro Tonali’s move to Newcastle United.

Hudson-Odoi is also attracting interest from Saudi Arabia while West Ham United are reportedly monitoring his situation, but they are focused on prising Harvey Barnes away from Leicester City.
