Junior Messias will be bought out as an agreement between Milan and Crotone should be fully defined today.

Last summer Messias arrived on the deadline day from Crotone, who had just been relegated to Serie B the previous season, on a paid loan (€2.6m) with an option to buy set at €5.4m + €1m bonuses.

After his debut season in Red and Black, comprised of highs and lows, it seems that the Rossoneri have decided to use their buy-out option to bring Messias on a permanent transfer.

Even though pre-season training has already began, Sky Italia’s Peppe Di Stefano and Nicolò Schira claim that today there should be a meeting between Milan and Crotone to complete the deal that will see the 31-year-old signing a new deal with the Diavolo.

The figures, however, will be lower than those agreed last summer. In fact, Milan will pay around €4m for the Brazilian according to Sky. By the end of the week, Messias should be back at Milanello.
