Milan and Chelsea have reportedly set their sights on Lille’s Jonathan David and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko for next season.
Both Rossoneri and Blues are expected to sign a new centre forward for the 2024-25 campaign and the latest reports suggest they will have common targets in the summer.
The Serie A giants reportedly have a seven-man striker shortlist for next season which includes the likes of David and Sesko. David is a long-time Milan target and learned in 2023 that Lille’s asking price for the Canada international was €50m.
Sesko’s transfer fee is exactly the same as, according to multiple reports, the 20-year-old striker has a €50m release clause in his contract with RB Leipzig.
According to MilanLive, Chelsea have also joined the race for the Slovenia international as the predictable lack of Champions League football next season could make Napoli star Victor Osimhen unaffordable for the Blues.
Ultimately, David has been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge or even to the Stadio Maradona, where he is seen as a potential replacement for Osimhen, who will surely leave the club in the summer.
