Chief Scout Geoffrey Moncada and Sporting Director Antonio D’Ottavio are leading negotiations with the Ligue 1 club as they have presented an initial offer of a season-long loan deal with the right to buy. The situation became complicated when Brest rejected the proposal to make way for an improved bid.

Eric Roy’s side are having a fantastic season as they sit fourth in the league standings. They hope to hold onto the 20-year-old until summer to get a better valuation for the player. The current valuation is around €11-12 million but that could increase with performances and the club’s final standing.
