Milan agree Jimenez deal with Real Madrid | OneFootball

According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan have reached an early agreement to purchase Alex Jimenez from Real Madrid for under €5m.

The left-back will turn 19 in May and is technically part of the Primavera youth team, but has already made five appearances for the senior squad between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

He arrived on loan from Real Madrid with an option to buy for €5m, but Sky Sport Italia claim that the Rossoneri have decided not to wait until the end of the season.

Instead, they managed to negotiate a purchase from Real Madrid early for slightly under the €5m fee.

Real Madrid will retain a buy-back clause, but again set at a higher figure than previously agreed.

That was originally set to expire in June 2026 and it remains to be seen if that will be extended too.

They still need to negotiate the contract with Alex Jimenez to complete the deal and hope to get it done after the break for Easter.
