Sometimes we can expect this kind of difficulty in a match. But the most important thing was to react and I think we did it well with these seven goals scored. Both teams did not want to lose this match. There was a lot of commitment with or without the ball. We were patient in the first half to find the net twice. The second half was then very clean.

We had to make a point on our side because we are a good team with talented players and we want to do our best in Portugal. It will be tough going there, they have a good team with good attacking elements and a good defense.

Good evening Thilo. What is your analysis of the match after this big victory?

We had some difficulties at the beginning. It happens often, we try to correct that to start the matches well. We then recovered well, and the red card also influenced the game.

Despite going behind, we were able to take advantage of this numerical advantage to continue, keep the rhythm and create chances. The same was true in defense, we were able to take our time and communicate well to stop their counterattacks. We are happy for those who scored, it feels good and gives us confidence for the future.

When there are two big games and another that may seem a little less important, it is not easy to be necessarily focused on this one in question. But we were able to be fully focused to be well prepared for the second play-off match. These goals are a good thing for the players, who were able to show desire, determination and influence into the match, whether they were the starters or the substitutes.
