Miguel Zorío announces Valencia takeover offer; releases 7-point statement | OneFootball

Miguel Zorío has expanded on his takeover offer to Valencia owner Peter Lim.

The local business magnate has made a €248m bid for the club - with a deadline for Lim to accept set at April 1 2022.

In a released statement, the Zorio camp declared:

"Miguel Zorío, spokesperson for Marea Valencianista and former Vice President of Valencia CF SAD, in response to Peter Lim's statement, wants to underline the following points:

"1st - As I said at the press conference, this offer does not decline due to a punctual and visceral refusal. The offer remains firm until April 1, 2022. The fight to recover the club will not end until the Valencians recover Valencia CF.

"2nd - Peter Lim doubts that the offer exists. Again it is uncertain what he says. That is why we enclose a copy of the LOI, the LOI mail certificates sent to Peter Lim's home and to the Meriton Holdings address (we have removed the addresses for data protection) and the first two pages of the certificate issued by the Notary at the one that we deposit the documentation and the letters that guarantee the operation.

"3rd - Peter Lim does not make a capital increase to demonstrate his willingness to fulfill the commitments acquired in the sale process. It does the capital increase with a loan that it was not going to be able to collect (nor will it be able to collect any more for the sale of the players who guaranteed it.
