The £150million buyout could be completed by the end of next month.

The Cherries are managerless after Scott Parker was sacked just four games into the Premier League season and Gary O'Neil is expected to remain in interim charge for the time being.

The 55-year-old was appointed by Boro last November but his side are currently third from bottom in the Championship.
