The 26-year-old was not offered a new deal by his former side Rotherham United last month and thus was actively on the lookout for a new club.

Set to represent Plymouth in League One next season, Miller will be keen to make a positive start to his spell later this year.

The winger struggled with his fitness last season as he missed a considerable amount of action.

During the 23 league games three goals and provide four assists as Rotherham secured promotion to the Championship.

Miller also represented Rotherham in the FA Cup and the EFL Trophy in the previous term.

The former Northampton Town loanee is the second player to join Plymouth this summer.

Matt Butcher will also line up for the club next season.

After Plymouth announced his arrival, Miller admitted on Instagram that he is delighted to have made this particular switch.

The Verdict

This could turn out to be a shrewd bit of business by Plymouth as Miller did show some signs of promise in League One last season.

As well as being directly involved in seven goals at this level, the winger managed to average a respectable WhoScored match rating of 6.77 in the third-tier.

Providing that he is able to avoid injury over the course of the upcoming campaign, there is a strong possibility that Miller will become a key member of Plymouth’s squad.

If Argyle backs up this particular move by signing some players who have also previously impressed in this particular division, they will boost their chances of making a bright start to the 2022/23 campaign.
