Marius Wolf took full advantage of his second start of the season, putting in an impressive 90 minutes as Dortmund took down Arminia Bielefeld 3-1 over the weekend.
After spending last season on loan at FC Köln, this season is one that Wolf will hope he can redeem himself and, so far, he’s doing a mighty fine job in the eyes of Michael Zorc.
“I’ve already emphasised several times that Marius deserves these opportunities,” Zorc told Ruhr Nachrichten.
“He always gets stuck in, and the position on the wing in front of a three-man backline really suited him on Saturday.
“He did a very good job in Bielefeld.”
Though he has only made a pair of starts, Wolf has featured in 12 of 15 matches so far this season.
