Michael Zorc has refused to rule out the possibility that Reinier’s loan deal with Borussia Dortmund could be cut short.

The 18-year-old playmaker has made little impression since moving from Real Madrid in the summer, and reports in Spain suggest Los Blancos are unhappy with the current situation.

Reinier has featured in only four Bundesliga games this season, registering just one shot in that time.

BVB sporting director Zorc insists that the German side want to keep the Brazil U-23 international until the end of the season, but conceded that Real may have other ideas.

“We have a lot of competition on the offensive. In principle, we do not want to hand him over,” Zorc told Sport1.

“If someone is dissatisfied because he has too few stakes, then you talk. But we don’t take any initiative ourselves.”

It is unclear if Real can force Dortmund to release the player, but it is understood that the defending LaLiga champions would prefer to see the former Flamengo starlet be loaned out to a Spanish side at this stage.
