Michael set to leave for Al-Hilal as Flamengo receive improved offer

After Michael’s outstanding 2021 season at Flamengo in 2021, he caught the attention of Al-Hilal, who are in the process of bringing in a new high-profile striker.

Talks between the Rubro-Negro and the Saudi club have evolved and it’s believed that a transfer announcement may occur at any time.

After seeing a R$45m ($8m) offer rejected, journalist Venê Casagrande claims that Flamengo have accepted a $10m bid.

In addition, Michael has already given Flamengo the thumbs up, meaning if Casagrande’s report is true, the deal simply requires the final signatures in order to be approved.

Flamengo have already been seeking Michael’s replacement, targeting Grêmio’s 23-year-old forward Ferreirinha.
