Not a stranger to a Manchester derby, Oliver officiated both Manchester derbies last season, which the Blues won 0-2 and 4-1, respectively, both in dominating fashion.

A good omen for the Premier League champions, City have an impressive record with Oliver in charge, winning 36 out of 48 games, drawing four and losing eight – a win percentage of 75%. On the other hand, United have a poor record with Oliver as a referee – a dismal win percentage of just 38%.
