Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise (21) has suffered a hamstring injury during France U21’s 1-0 victory against Norway on Sunday night, manager Sylvain Ripoll has confirmed.

Olise had a mixed evening. The Crystal Palace midfielder, competing in his first tournament with Les Bleuets, scored the only goal of the game, which puts France within one point of topping the group in the U21 European Championships, sealing progression to the knockout stage of the tournament.

However, just minutes after scoring, Olise was through again, This time, he couldn’t finish and also injured himself in the process. The Crystal Palace midfielder immediately signalled to be substituted and was in visible pain and unable to put any pressure on his left leg.
