Beale had previously turned down the Wolves job in October but has now opted to leave west London for Ibrox.

Beale last worked at the club as Steven Gerrard’s right-hand man during their title win in 2020/21.

“It is fantastic to be back and to see everybody this morning, there are some new faces but some people that I know really well so it is great to see everyone,” Beale told the Rangers official website.

Beale succeeds Giovani van Bronckhorst with Rangers currently sat nine points behind leaders Celtic in the SPL.
