Last Sunday, Erling Braut Haaland scored his 25th goal of the 2022/23 Premier League season.
In just 19 appearances, the Norwegian has reached a quarter of a century, which is quite frankly ridiculous.
Haaland scored a hat-trick in Manchester City‘s dominant 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers, his fourth treble of the campaign.
The numbers are absurd in the extreme and you almost dread to think what number Haaland will eventually finish on.
Andy Cole’s record of 34 goals in a Premier League season, which came when there 42 games played per edition, is under serious, serious threat.
So, with Haaland’s outrageous goal scoring once again making the headlines, we’ve decided to take another look back through the history books.

The way Haaland is going, he may get near the jaw-dropping totals recorded by Messi and Ronaldo in their absolute pomps.
And the fact the City star has already equalled Henry’s 2004/05 tally, while sitting just one behind Crespo and Totti’s 26-goal hauls, is nothing short of astounding.
