Luciano Spalletti has enjoyed a long and successful career in football.

Spalletti enjoyed a decent career as a professional footballer where he played in Italy’s lower leagues for a number of clubs including Entella, Spezia and Empoli.

He retired from football in 1993 and promptly turned to management.

Spalletti has gone on to coach a number of Italy’s top teams, including Roma and Inter Milan, while he has also managed Udinese, Sampdoria and Zenit St Petersburg.

Now 63, he is currently manager of Napoli. He guided the Italian club to a 3rd place finish and Champions League qualification in the 2021/22 season.

Spalletti has managed so many world-class players while he has come up against plenty more.

We’re not joking – his collection may well be unbeatable. View it below…

Wow. That is every shirt collector’s dream.

Shirts worn by Wayne Rooney, Ronaldo, Didier Drogba, Kaka, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, John Terry, Neymar and Ronaldinho all feature on his wall.

He also has a number of shirts worn by Francesco Totti.

Spalletti coaches the legendary Italian for many years at Roma. The two infamously feuded during Totti’s last year at Roma in 2017.

But Spalletti still admires Totti despite their differences in the past.

He said, per Romapress.net: “I have all of his jerseys. He was a pivotal player for me, pivotal in the way he contributed to the team and in terms of personality and bringing the whole fanbase together.

“I still have the jersey we brought him when he got injured. He’s the kind of player who doesn’t care about talking on the pitch – he just pulls the team on his own.

“When playing in the Champions League, if there was someone who did not have the personality to take the ball and make the play, he took that responsibility upon himself.

“I’m sorry about the way it ended because I had a great relationship with him. I really do fall in love with my players because my dream as a child had always been to work and share the locker room with such players.”
