Just like he did in the Alvaro Morata negotiations, it is being reported that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has taken the lead on the Lazar Samardzic front.

Il Messaggero Veneto (via MilanNews) are reporting that in addition to the contact between the managements of Milan and Udinese, there was one between Ibrahimovic – the Senior Advisor of RedBird Capital – and Mladen Samardzic, the father of the midfielder.

Dealing with Mladen is not easy given that he showed last year he has a certain weight in the future of his son. Samardzic was on the verge of a move to Inter and even did his medical before the requests for commissions changed and everything collapsed.

Ibrahimovic has put Milan’s cards on the table, verbally offering a four-year contract worth €4m net per season, of which €1m is a commission for the entourage which also includes the TDS agency of Tolgai Dirican.

There was then a direct contact between Milan and Udinese, from which two knots emerged to be resolved. The first concerns the percentage on the future resale, the second is on the counterpart to be included in the operation.

Udinese want €25m to sell the Serbian and they asked for one of Lorenzo Colombo, Kevin Zeroli and Davide Bartesaghi as part of the deal. Milan responded with a firm no for all three, but with the promise to speak again during the week.
