Orlando Pirates have announced the departure of their striker Zakhele Lepasa after seven years of loyal service.

The 28-year-old center forward was not included in Orlando Pirates' preseason training camp in Spain. The club's management has now confirmed his exit.

The Soweto native is now a free agent and must find a new club to reignite his career during this summer transfer window.

The South African international (18 caps, 3 goals) had been with the club since 2019, but never truly established himself. He was loaned out three times to Stellenbosch FC, TS Galaxy, and SuperSport United.

Lepasa's journey with Orlando Pirates totals 64 matches, during which he netted 15 goals and provided 2 assists. He missed several months of the 2024-2025 season due to a serious injury.
