Aliou Badara Faty continues his journey with the "Corbeaux"

Aliou Badara Faty will continue with TP Mazembe next season. The Senegalese goalkeeper has extended his contract for two more years, keeping him at the club until June 2027.

Injured at the end of May, the Corbeaux's shot-stopper is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days in Belgium. He is suffering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus damage.

Already sidelined for the final matches of the season, the 26-year-old goalkeeper is also set to miss a significant portion of the 2025-2026 campaign before rejoining his teammates.

The former Casa Sports keeper featured in 20 matches last season, including 8 in the Champions League. He even found the net against Young Africans during the group stage.
