Wydad Casablanca has announced the signing of Congolese midfielder Joseph Bakasu from Maniema.

The 21-year-old talent has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Red and Whites to bolster the midfield.

The club wished him good luck in his new adventure in a brief statement posted on X, featuring a photo of the new signing shaking hands with WAC coach Mohamed Amine Benhachem.

Joseph Bakasu is regarded as one of Maniema’s top players, having shone in the CAF Champions League last season.

He found the net once in 10 Chamupions Leage appearances, scoring during the group stage against Raja Casablanca.
