The future of Memphis Depay at Barcelona will depend on whether Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will move to Chelsea or not, as broken by Fabrizio Romano.

According to sources close to the club, Barcelona are only willing to part ways with one of their forwards.

As reported this morning, despite the Gabonese international stating that he is happy at the Blaugrana and has no desire to leave, Chelsea are really interested in signing Aubameyang this summer to replace Timo Werner, who is set to complete his return to RB Leipzig.

It is believed that Depay´s lawyers are in the process of negotiating with the club to allow their client to become a free agent. Juventus are interested in signing Depay and are currently preparing a contract offer.

The Dutch international would only consider moving to a top-tier club. His departure could also lead to the further reduction of Barcelona´s wage bill, helping improve the club´s financial situation.
