For the preparation work that the Rebaño Sagrado is carrying out with a view to the Clausura 2025 and the CONCACAF Champions Cup, it was decided that 10 players from the Rojiblanca youth academy will join the preseason, who want to take advantage of this showcase to earn their place in the First Team.

In total, there are 9 players from Tapatío, the brand-new Ascenso MX Champion, who were considered to carry out these tasks, in addition to Ariel Castro, who alternated his participation with the U-23 and U-19 teams in the previous semester.

Who are the Chivas youth players working in Zacatecas?- Eduardo García: The 'Dragon' is 22 years old and has been considered the third goalkeeper of the Rebaño for several tournaments. He has accumulated 2 Expansion League titles with El Tapatío and stands out for being a great goalkeeper and for having good footwork.

- Miguel Gómez: He is 22 years old and plays as a right back. The Perla de Occidente native is good in defensive duels, but his main strength is the way he participates with the ball, as his interpretation of the game helps him to occupy central lanes and also get close to the opponent's area. Gómez's role could even be summarized as that of another midfielder, but starting from the back.

- Daniel Flores: This 21-year-old Rojiblanco youth player also plays as a winger, but on the left flank. Flores stood out in the recent Tapatío title because of the way he provided depth on that flank, in addition to the fact that he usually makes good decisions with the ball in the final third.

- Luis Rey: Many are already familiar with this lanky 22-year-old center back, as he made his debut with Guadalajara during the previous tournament and left a very good impression. - Saúl Zamora: This midfielder was Tapatío's central axis during the Apertura 2024.
