After confirming his departure from the club, all eyes were on Kylian Mbappé as the French superstar walked out on the Parc des Princes for the final time as a PSG player.

Fans paid tribute to the captain of the night with an incredible tifo before he repaid their support by netting the opening goal of the match.

After receiving a ball over the top from goalkeeper Arnau Tenas, Mbappé cushioned it down perfectly and rounded goalkeeper Guillaume Restes. It was his 256th goal for the club.

Toulouse – however – always looked keen to spoil the party. And boy, did they ever.

They kept Tenas on his toes just before the opener and eventually pulled level when an unmarked Thijs Dallinga split two defenders and rolled home his 19th goal of the season.

The visitors went toe-to-toe with the hosts and manager Luis Enrique would have surely been puzzled as to how the champions didn’t walk over the 10th place side.

Marco Asensio and Bradley Barcola were hauled off for Gonçalo Ramos and Ousmane Dembélé, however neither could find a way to inspire PSG.

Instead, it was Toulouse’s sustained pressure that proved decisive. Yann Gboho scored a stunning long-range effort from the edge of the box all but silencing the home supporters and Frank Magri poked home a late third to secure a huge victory.

Mbappé’s final match at home goes down as just their second league loss of the season.
