Real Madrid extended their lead in LaLiga on Saturday following a 3-0 win over Real Valladolid.
Scorer: Mbappé 30', 57', 90+2'
Despite being the lowest side in the La Liga table, the hosts made things frustrating for Carlo Ancelotti's side over 90 minutes.
Real Madrid were forced to really work for their three points as Valladolid at times had eight or nine players behind the ball. And without the talents of Vinicius Junior, the visitors were forced to look elsewhere for goals.
Thankfully, one Kylian Mbappé continues to be in the form of his life after finally finding his confidence in Los Blancos colours.
The Frenchman first played the ball to Jude Bellingham and the Englishman returned it to him before Mbappé curled the ball home into the right side of the net.
After the break, he doubled the lead for the hosts after a trademark run on the left wing and again found the bottom right corner with a low drive.
Unfortunately for Valladolid, there was no chance of a comeback, with only two efforts on target and a small 30% possession of the ball. And things turned worse in the dying moments.
Bellingham was clattered in the box and VAR awarded Real Madrid a penalty, seeing Mbappé complete his first hat-trick for the club. Mario Martín was also shown red for the incident.
It means Valladolid registered their 14th defeat of the season while Real Madrid now hold a four-point lead at the top.
