Kylian Mbappe led the way for Paris Saint-Germain in the Coupe de France semifinal win against Montpellier. Mbappe scored two goals in the match, which now brings his total in this season’s Coupe de France tournament to six goals.

Overall, Mbappe now stands at 39 goals in all competitions this season, which includes 25 goals in Ligue 1 and eight in the UEFA Champions League competition. This total is tied with his 2018-2019 campaign when he notched 39 goals over 43 appearances in all competitions.

It is notable that Mbappe still has not had that one signature 40-goal campaign, especially considering that he already has four seasons under his belt with the French powerhouse. With PSG now having three matches remaining on its schedule this season, the French forward should well reach 40 goals for the first time in his career.

Mbappe will now look ahead to helping PSG pick a key Ligue 1 win in the upcoming home matchup against Reims.
