Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe suffered a minor injury during the team’s UEFA Champions League group stage fixture against Club Brugge.

Mbappe attempted to pull off a solo, quick transition sequence during the second half of the match. However, the French forward collided with former PSG prospect and current Club Brugge defender Stanley N’Soki.

Mbappe immediately called to be subbed off the pitch with an apparent ankle injury. PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino elected to bring on forward Mauro Icardi in his place.

PSG’s attack has not had its way so far in this match against Club Brugge. In their first game together, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Mbappe have yet to score a goal, which is certainly a surprise at this stage in the fixture.

For now, it remains to be seen on the severity of Mbappe’s injury. PSG sure aspires to see Mbappe ready for its upcoming key Ligue 1 fixtures.
