France have a ridiculous amount of talent and are spearheaded by the phenomenal Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe, still just 23, is one of the best players in the world. He’s already a superstar and It’s scary to think he’s not even in his prime yet.

Ahead of the finals in Qatar, Transfermarkt have posted an image showing the most valuable XI of French players aged 23 or under.

GK: Illan Meslier (Leeds United)

Meslier, just 22, has been Leeds’ first-choice goalkeeper for the past few years. He made 143 saves in the Premier League this season, the most of any player.

CB: Dayot Upamecano (Bayern Munich)

Bayern paid RB Leipzig €42.5 million for his signature in February 2021. He is a regular for a superb Bayern side.

CB: Jules Kounde (Sevilla)

Kounde is highly-sought after, with Chelsea believed to be interested in acquiring his services. A move in excess of £50m could on the cards, per the Mirror.

CB: Wesley Fofana (Leicester City)

Fofana was just 19 when he made the £36.5 million move from Saint-Etienne to Leicester City. He showed his quality after returning from a serious leg injury.

CM: Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid)

Camavinga, just 19, has been brilliant for Real Madrid this season. He played a key role as they were crowned Champions League winners.

Tchouaméni’s brilliant 21/22 season has seen him linked with numerous elite clubs, with Real Madrid, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain vying for his signature, per the Daily Mail.

RM: Michael Olise (Crystal Palace)

Olise, just 20, has turned heads with some scintillating displays in the Premier League. He scored twice and recorded six assists in 12 starts in England’s top tier this season.

LM: Moussa Diaby (Bayer Leverkusen)

Diaby, 22, scored 17 times and recorded 14 assists for Leverkusen in 2021/22.

France have so many quality players aged 23 or under that Ibrahima Konate, William Saliba and Boubacar Kamara don’t even make the XI.

France are going to be very, very good for many years to come. That is for sure.
