This is freaky!

Kylian Mbappé scored an exquisite goal for Paris Saint-Germain against Guingamp in Saturday’s 3-1 victory but it seems Ronaldinho scored the exact goal, for the same team, against the exact opposition fifteen years ago.

Mbappé is the PSG present and future (they hope!) but Ronaldinho symbolises the past and was shimmying and shaking for the French giants in 2003 and the comparison tweeted by the Ligue 1 champions on Monday is incredible.

In really cool footage shared by the club, both goals appear identical. From the slalom past defenders, the chip over the keeper with the tip and outside of the boot right down to the short jump in celebration it’s a mirror image.

It remains to be seen whether Mbappé’s career will mirror that of Ronaldinho’s. The two are both World Cup winners but will he one day dominate LaLiga? The powers that be at Real Madrid hope so if reports are to be believed.
