The Mazatlan FC vs Puebla Liga MX match will be broadcast live online and on TV as Los Sinaloenses host La Franja at the Estadio Mazatlan this Monday, July 27, at 8:00 p.m. Pacific.
Mazatlan FC is one of the most controversial teams in the Liga MX as the ownership relocated Monarcas Morelia to form this team. The team from Sinaloa did not have a very busy transfer window as the key departures were “Shaggy” Martinez and Sebastian Vegas.
The purple team was able to hang onto former Morelia team captain Aldo Rocha after rumors that he was going to sign for another club. Mazatlan FC has some intriguing players on its roster like Martin Rodriguez and Fernando Aristeguieta as the port city team will try and get its first points in the Liga MX.
Puebla had a busy transfer window, losing players like Angel Zaldivar, Cristian Menendez and Jesus Zavala. Los Camoteros also made several signings as Amaury Escoto, George Corral, Daniel Alvarez and Bernardo Cuesta all joined La Franja.
Puebla’s most enticing signing by far was Bernardo Cuesta, who is coming from Thailand, but is Peruvian team FC Melgar’s all-time goalscorer. Cuesta previously played at Melgar with current Puebla winger Omar Fernandez as the pair will try and recreate the magic they had in Peru.
