Wolves centre-back Max Kilman is keeping his feet on the ground after an impressive few weeks for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
The 23-year-old has played his part in the team earning three clean sheets from their last four games while also putting pen to paper on a new five-year deal.
It’s taken some time for the former-Futsal player to break into the starting XI and now he’s there, Kilman is insistent on taking each game at a time.
“For me personally, I never set any long-term goals. I never have done,” he told the Express and Star.
“For me, it’s just week by week, training by training, to keep working hard and keep getting better. Then things might happen.
“That’s the kind of mentality I have. Nuno and the whole staff, they don’t just say ‘it’s good enough.”
