Serie A giants Milan are working to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United and progress is now being made for the transfer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that the striker’s entourage held conversations with Milan on Tuesday and he has now opened up to a move to the Rossoneri.
He is waiting for a meeting with the Italian side about their project and this discussion will also involve Max Allegri, who is keen to sign him and wants to explain his tactical setup to him.
There is still a gap in valuation between the two clubs and even Hojlund wants assurances over a permanent deal in the future. Milan sporting director Igli Tare is expecting to make sure that the deal closes in the middle of next week, as there is optimism about a deal to go through.
Talks remain ongoing. Milan currently do not want to exceed €40 million in total, including the transfer fee and the option to buy. At United, however, they’re aiming for €6 million for the loan, plus over €40 million to make the deal permanent within a year.
