Former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that he is now ready to get back into management after a year out of the game.
Allegri left Juve after five years this time last year and has, in the meantime, been linked with a host of jobs all over the continent.
But the Italian has claimed that he does not have a location in mind for his next job.
“I have rested, recharged my batteries and stayed with my family in Livorno,” he told Marca.
“It’s not important where, I’m looking for a club that wants to share a project and have the ambitions to compete and win.”
When the Spanish newspaper asked if he likes La Liga, Allegri responded: “Who would answer no to that question? Nobody.”
Allegri, who won five Scudetti with the Old Lady, picked up his first at Milan in 2010-11 and the Rossoneri haven’t won the League since.
And Allegri was quick to downplay any comparisons between the two clubs ahead of their clash this week.
“Juventus are built to win, just for this. For this reason, I think they can continue to win for years to come,” he confessed.
“Unfortunately, I think Milan are still missing something. They need a strong and consistent project. Changing the squad every season won’t allow you to develop.”
Allegri also admitted that Real Madrid had been in touch during his time at Juventus.
“Two years ago, there was contact, but nothing happened because I had a contract with Juve.
“I had a strong moral commitment with the club and the people there.”
