Mauro Icardi is increasingly likely to stay at Inter beyond the end of the transfer window, according to Sky Sport.
His wife and agent Wanda Nara last night told Mediaset’s ‘Tiki Taka’ show that she expected Icardi to stay remain with the Nerazzurri this summer.
Napoli will wait a little longer before closing a deal with Fernando Llorente, but it seems highly unlikely Maurito will accept the offer they made him now.
Juventus, meanwhile, cannot move for Icardi until they have sold some of their own forwards, which is becoming ever more difficult with time running out.
Elsewhere, Inter have not yet signed Alexis Sanchez but they are confident a deal will be finalised in the next few hours.
Manchester United want them to provide a greater contribution to the forward’s wages, but Sanchez’s desire to come to Inter means talks should end positively.
Inter are also working on a deal to resign Cristiano Biraghi from Fiorentina, in what would be a swap deal involving Dalbert.
The Brazilian needs to agree to join the Viola for the move to go ahead, but Sky assured he was expected to do so.
