The love story of Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara began in the most bizarre ways possible. Back in 2008, Wanda was happily married to Icardi’s Sampdoria teammate Maxi Lopez. The couple was happy in their marriage until 2013 where they both defamed each other for cheating. Wanda was in a secret affair Icardi and Lopez took it horribly, leading up to their divorce. Both Wanda and Icardi married each other in 2014 at a private party in Buenos Aires. The marriage was not well received in Argentina’s national team. Icardi was heavily criticized for his obnoxious actions but they both decided to stick to each other. His career was in jeopardy as well. But his form in Inter Milan allowed him to continue his football in Seria A. The press dubbed the Inter vs Sampdoria match as ‘Wanda Derby’ when Lopez refused to shake hands with his former colleague.

Another Divorce on cards?

The couple was happily married until last week, Wanda raged on Instagram accusing her husband of cheating on her. In an Instagram post, she wrote: ‘Another family you have ruined for a s***’.  The matter got elevated as the press followed up the story. Just after a day Wanda again posted a cryptic photo with a caption of  ‘Good day. I prefer my hand without a ring on it.’ It sparked strong rumours of their possible split. However, a day later Icardi also posted on his Instagram about they are still together. He wrote an emotional apological caption thanking Wanda for staying. ‘Thank you my love for continuing to believe in this beautiful family, thanks for being the motor of our lives. I love you,’ He wrote.

As of now, the couple are not divorced as per sources they haven’t moved anything against each other legally. From their social media handles it is only known that they are together for now. They have been married for a long period of time, and by the means of it, they might survive this time.
