On Tuesday, Mauro Boselli’s agent Jose Iribarren visited the striker and had informal discussions with the Corinthians board.
Amid speculation in Argentina about an alleged proposal by Boca Juniors, the agent is keen to ensure that he is not in Brazil to decide the future of the player.
“He plays at Corinthians and has two years left on his contract. Everything they say is not real. I’m here to watch a game and visit Mauro, as I do once a month.”
Boselli was initially signed to be the solution to a grim Corinthians attack but that never transpired, losing out to Gustagol during the Campeonato Paulista while Vagner Love has since won the starting job in Gustagol’s absence.
Through 30 games this season, Boselli has only been able to contribute four goals.
