Mauricio Pochettino offers advice to double-chasing PSG | OneFootball

Mauricio Pochettino has urged his Paris Saint-Germain side to maintain belief that they can win the Ligue 1 title next weekend.

PSG beat Reims on Sunday to close to within a point of leaders Lille ahead of the final round of fixtures.

Goals from Neymar (penalty), Kylian Mbappé, Marquinhos, and Moise Kean helped the Parisiens to a straightforward victory and set them up nicely for a decisive seven days.

“The most important thing is to believe [in our chances],” Pochettino said after the game at the Parc des Princes.

“But now we have to focus on Wednesday’s final against Monaco. That’s our first objective. Then after the French Cup final we will focus on our game against Brest.

“The important thing is that we still have a chance to win the league. We have to do our job and see what Lille do against Angers.”

PSG will travel to Brest next Sunday hoping to better the result of Lille in order to secure their 10th French championship.
