It seems you like you cannot go one Chelsea game without having to fear an injured player or two right now and fear the worst.
There is a period after games now where Chelsea fans have to sweat on results of scans and see how players are after getting yet another injury as the crisis continues.
There was a few players who created some concerns last night in Chelsea’s 2-0 win against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Moises Caicedo probably had his best game so far in a Chelsea shirt and it was great to see. But what wasn’t great to see was the midfielder hobbling off come the end of the game after a clash with former Blue Willian. The pair whacked knees and Caicedo had to come off.
But luckily, it doesn’t seem like it was anything much more than bruising, or at least that is what Mauricio Pochettino is hoping and reporting.
In words cited by The Metro, Pochettino said: “Caicedo was a contusion but also hopefully it’s nothing wrong. He was tired, but it was a contusion.”
Contusion basically means bruising, for your info!
