An incredible last-minute equaliser from Neal Maupay has rescued a 1-1 draw for Brighton against West Ham United at London Stadium.
The Hammers lead for 84 minutes after Tomas Soucek responded to David Moyes' pre-match comments for him to score more goals by glancing a header from Pablo Fornals' superb inswinging corner into the back of the net.
Fornals nearly doubled the advantage shortly after but was denied by the crossbar.
The home side thought they were ahead 2-0 when a goalmouth scramble saw the ball creep over the line off the heel of Brighton defender Shane Duffy.
However, a lengthy VAR delay resulted in the goal being disallowed after Michail Antonio was adjudged offside before the ball hit Duffy.
Moyes' side were eventually punished for their wastefulness as Brighton gallantly fought for a point.
It was a magnificent goal to even the score as Maupay delivered an acrobatic overhead kick to beat
Graham Potter's side showed terrific resilience after being put to 10-men when Adam Lallana went off after 85 minutes, having already used all their substitutions.
The result means West Ham missed a chance to keep in touch with the top three of Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool, who all won on Wednesday.
Brighton are now in seventh with 19 points, however they will be supplanted if Tottenham or Manchester United don't lose on Thursday.
