Matthijs de Ligt is firming as favourite for the Juventus captaincy.
Tuttosport says current skipper Giorgio Chiellini is off contract in June and will not be offered new terms.

This will leave Juve needing to find a new captain and De Ligt is emerging as a favourite.
Despite his youth, Juve's board believe the 21 year-old would be the right choice for the club's future ahead of 33 year-old defender Leonardo Bonucci.
De Ligt arrived at Juve in 2019 as the former captain of Ajax.
