Matthijs de Ligt admits he has captaincy ambitions at Juventus.
The former Ajax skipper has intimated he wants a long-term stay in Turin.
“It is an honour for me to play for Juventus and I'd love to think that one day I could become captain of this side," De Ligt told Sky Italia.
“That's not important right now, seeing as there are already four captains in the squad who have been playing here for many years.
"The important thing for me is to play well, help the team and then the coach will decide who is captain, but it's not my objective right now."
