Inter attacker Matteo Politano has shared one of the main goals that he and his teammates have for the season.

“I always had the goal of joining a great team, to compete in the Champions League and fight for the Scudetto. Antonio Conte has arrived and he is someone who always wants to win and then there are new teammates who have brought experience to the group. We work hard and with serenity with the view to making the Nerazzurri fans happy,” the Italian international winger explained in an interview with the official Inter match day programme.

He also shared how he feels when he sees people with his name on the back of their shirts.

“It is an indescribable emotion, every time, to see someone wearing your shirt. It is the ultimate expression of how beautiful football is.”

Politano has made five appearances across all competitions this season but has been unable to contribute a goal or assist yet.
